Champagne Minx                           Science Educator

I've been an educator for 6 years. I currently teach 6th grade science and work with at-risk students at Southern Boone Middle School. Previously, I taught science at South Callaway Middle School. I have an A.A.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Biology and Geography from the University of Central Missouri, and an M.Ed. from the University of Missouri. I am very passionate about teaching science and student learning. I integrate math, writing, art, engineering, computer science, geography, and history within my lessons. Helping students become well-rounded, leaders is a part of my personal mission as an educator. My demonstrated ability to connect with and motivate at-risk students to succeed, coupled with exceptional content knowledge, sets me apart from other teaching candidates.
